About the Show

IT’S TIME TO BELIEVE IN MAGIC

Broadway’s Spellbinding Sensation Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has arrived in Chicago on its first-ever North American Tour. Join the next adventure and experience the wizarding world like never before at this record-breaking, Tony Award-winning hit, hailed as “one of the most defining pop culture events of the decade” (Forbes).

When Harry Potter’s head-strong son Albus befriends the son of his fiercest rival, Draco Malfoy, it sparks an unbelievable new journey for them all—with the power to change the past and future forever. Prepare for a mind-blowing race through time, spectacular spells, and an epic battle, all brought to life with the most astonishing theatrical magic ever seen on stage. It’s a “marvel of imagination” (The New York Times) that will “leave you wondering ‘how’d they do that?’ for days to come” (People Magazine).

John Skelley will play Harry Potter with Trish Lindstrom as Ginny Potter and Emmet Smith as their son Albus Potter. Matt Mueller will play Ron Weasley with Ebony Blake as Hermione Granger and Naiya Vanessa McCalla as their daughter Rose Granger-Weasley. Playing Draco Malfoy will be Ben Thys with Aidan Close as his son Scorpius Malfoy. Delphi Diggory will be played by Julia Nightingale and Severus Snape will be played by Larry Yando.

They are joined by Kaleb Alexander, Julianna Austin, Markcus Blair, Casey Butler, Erin Chupinsky, Reese Sebastian Diaz, David Fine, Simon Gagnon, Alexis Gordon, Caleb Hafen, Lauryn Hayes, Nathan Hosner, Torsten Johnson, Katherine Leask, Markelle Leigh, Mackenzie Lesser-Roy, Evan Maltby, Zach Norton, Travis Patton, Maren Searle, Ayla Stackhouse, Jennifer Thiessen, Timmy Thompson, René Thornton Jr., and Kristin Yancy playing a variety of characters.

A digital lottery for a minimum of ten (10) $40 seats will be held for every performance Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.  Seat locations and the number of tickets awarded by the lottery are always subject to availability. A $5.00 handling fee will be added to the price of each ticket at the time of checkout. Click here for details and to enter.

THE PERFORMANCES BEGIN EXACTLY ON TIME.
Latecomers and anyone not in their seats at showtime will miss the start of the show and be seated at the discretion of the house staff as directed by the show. It is recommended you take into account that there is always something happening in the loop to impede your travel so schedule to arrive 45 minutes before show time to ensure enough time for security checks and to explore the lobbies, merchandise kiosks, and concession stands.
